Yesterday I was officially elected as the co-chair of the women’s forum of Eurolat. Thank you so much Renew Europe for putting me forward and your trust in me. This role means a lot to me. It was an honor to co-chair with Gloria Oquelí from Honduras. She did amazing work for the women’s forum. But this would be the last time for her. Big shoes to fill..
During my visit in Panama I could meet with amazing inspiring great women. Bold women. The women’s forum made clear we have a lot to share but also a lot to tackle together. Together we need to work on a safe and inclusive world for women and girls. And therefore men need to be engaged and involved too. We are all part of the solution.
Before getting elected as a co-chair I had the pleasure to host a lunch with female influencers in Panama. They’ve inspired me a lot with their stories and strong ambition to get at the top so they can make it better for others. The ladies: Stephanie Murillo, Ursula Kier, Walkiria Chandler D’Orcy, Serena Vamvas and Evi Papadikis.
My mission for the upcoming years will be to create alliances and networks all over the world to have a stronger cooperation for the protection of women’s rights. I’ll make sure that everywhere I come I speak and meet with women to create those alliances. Thank you for the wonderful experience ????????
