Discriminerend spreekkoren zijn helaas een hardnekkig fenomeen in Europese voetbalstadions. Nadat in Nederland een speler van Excelsior racistisch werd bejegend door de aanhangers van FC Den Bosch was voor Samira de maat vol. De Europese voetbalfederatie UEFA heeft tal van procedures in de boeken om dit gedrag aan te pakken, maar handhaaft slapjes. Daarom riep Samira de UEFA op om strenger te handhaven, middels een brief die is getekend door ruim 140 Europarlementariërs.
