Van 31 oktober tot en met 6 november heeft Samira Rafaela een werkbezoek afgelegd in Curaçao. Dit bezoek stond in het teken van de aanhoudende Coronacrisis welke de Caribische delen van het Koninkrijk zwaar teistert. Tijdens het bezoek heeft Samira Rafaela onder meer gesproken met Minister-President Rhuggenaath, de Gouverneur Lucille George-Wouth en de vertegenwoordiger van Nederland in Aruba, Curaçao en Sint Maarten, Erwin Arkenbout.
Hiernaast heeft zij een gastles gegeven aan de studenten van Kolegio Alejandro Paula (K.A.P.), heeft zij gesproken met het Curaçao Tourism Board over de impact van de Coronacrisis op de toerismesector en heeft zij een bezoek gebracht aan de voedselbank waar het, sinds het uitbreken van de economische crisis als gevolg van de uitbraak van het Coronacrisis, een stuk drukker is dan voorheen.
