Sunday the 21th of March marked the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Together with MEP Pierrette Herzberger-Fofana, Alice Kuhnke, Monica Semedo and Abir Al-Sahlani, Samira Rafaela launched a confronting campaign to speak out against racism.
One of the biggest challenges that we face today is that racism and hate is posted online anonymously and instantly. As members of the European Parliament, receiving racist and hateful comments has become reality. Particularly after we spoke out against such behavior.
This is not normal. Let’s put an end to this and speak out.
