De Istanbul Conventie staat onder druk. Turkije heeft zich recent teruggetrokken en andere landen dreigen om dit voorbeeld te volgen. Dit is juist het verdrag waarmee we geweld tegen vrouwen en meisjes moeten bestrijden.
“Geweld tegen vrouwen moet op de Europese lijst komen van criminele activiteiten waardoor we veel beter het geweld tegen kunnen gaan.”
