On October 7th, Samira Rafaela addressed the new abortion law in Texas in the European Parliament.
The state of Texas introduced a new obnoxious abortion law banning abortion as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. We should never accept that strangers decide over our bodies.
The wave of anti-abortion laws is not something exclusive to distant places like the US, we experience similar trends in the EU. The politicians that push for it want to put female sexuality under strict and brutal state control.
