July 14, 2022. | The last few weeks have been bleak for women’s rights. The overturning of Roe v Wade showed all of us how fragile our hard-fought victories on sexual and reproductive rights are. It showed us we need to strengthen these rights and keep protecting them. Because we can’t take them for granted when there are anti-gender movements trying to take them away.

On the 30th of June, Samira sent a letter to President Metsola together with other MEPs with the request to immediately withdraw the accreditation of anti-abortion lobbyists. Samira: “I have never received such intense reactions than after sending this letter. These reactions showed me that I was on the right track.”
