Samira Rafaela and her French colleague Stéphane Bijoux have written to the European Commission, asking to provide exceptional support to Overseas Countries and Territories of the European Union. In a letter they point out that the virus has hit many island communities hard and that EU-citizens all over the world must be able to count on European support in this unprecedented crisis.
